Lately, on my off days, I've been doing minor repairs for friends on their clothing items. I been sewing for the past 11 years, but with no formal sewing training, I'm winging a lot of it. As I continue to repair and learn more about the mending process, I'll be sharing some repairs on here!
This one is a Snap-T from a friend of mine. There was this large, jagged tear running around six inches long below the pocket. Debating between just running an invisible stitch or sewing the two edges together onto a backing fabric, I decided to go with the former. I've found that the invisible stitch is probably my favorite hand-stitch to do and naturally doing it with a high pile fleece was, even more, fun.
